I’m Steffan Hacker, an independent video and multimedia producer based in the Boston area. I work across a range of subjects and formats, with a consistent focus on visual storytelling and image-making.

​

Most recently, I was Senior Multimedia Producer at Berklee College of Music, where I produced, filmed, and edited both performance and editorial pieces featuring members of Berklee’s creative community.

​

Before that, I worked as a Multimedia Producer at Tufts University, creating short-form web documentaries highlighting the work of faculty and students. Prior to Tufts, I served as a Photographer and Multimedia Producer for Habitat for Humanity International, documenting the organization’s efforts in the U.S. and more than 30 countries.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I earned a B.A. in Visual Communication from Loyola University Chicago. I now live outside Boston with my wife, two kids, and our cat.
